Time to go to Work

The emails will be a great thing for the Church. This is our first steps, be patient with us. Pastors can give a message from the Pastor's corner. Barb Vallance can give announcements, and Shaw Brown can help us get the postings up. A man at work was staring out the window he was so bored he decided to go to the stock room just to see what was in there. He found an old brass lamp that would look good on his mantle. When he took it home, started to polish it when a Jeanie appeared and said he could have 3 wishes. The man wished for a mansion, boom it was there, then he wish for a beautiful, Christian wife, that adored him, boom she was there. Then for the last wish he wished that he would never have to work again, then boom, he was back at work staring out of the window. We know that this is just a fairy tale, but work is for real. 1st Thessalonians tells us to remember to work at our faith, Faith to be healed, Faith to give more in the offering, and Faith to witness more. I would just like to remind you that volunteering at Church is work but the rewards are great. Please let us know what you would like to be doing. Have a good week. JPB

On behalf of Faith Christian Assembly and myself as Pastor, thank you for visiting our Web Site. Faith Christian Assembly is a Church based upon and ministering the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe Him to be the Son of God and "Emmanuel, God With Us".

We believe Jesus Christ ministered here as the anointed Son of God doing the Father's will. Also, as the name implies, we are a "Word of Faith", Full Gospel, Spirit-filled Church, attempting to carry out our part of the Great Commission given by Jesus to us.

We attempt to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in every service allowing the Lord to minister to us in Word and also by operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Presently, our 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning service is our largest service where all the primary functions of the Church are in operation, including Nursery and Sunday School for the children through Youth. Most services begin with a session of Praise and Worship with a Contemporary/Southern Gospel flavor with frequent special singing.

We believe in most cases the Word which will build our faith should come first and then the invitation to minister is generally given, all subject to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We often offer prayer for salvation, healing and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We will agree with you according to the Word of God in prayer.
